Flowers and Food
Flowers bloom and fade. A meal is prepared, shared, and gone. I paint flowers and food because they live at the edge of permanence — beautiful precisely because they don't last. Yet they are also among the most familiar things we know: a bowl of fruit on a table, a vase on a windowsill. In capturing them on canvas, I ask what it means to hold onto something fleeting. These quiet, everyday subjects carry the full weight of being alive.
