Weave of Consciousness is a 7-panel immersive installation created for the Art and Mind exhibition at the Shasta Arts Council Gallery, Redding, CA — 2026.

Each 4"×6" element in the installation was created by a developmentally different adult at Artistic Endeavors in Redding — a distinct world of mark, color, and meaning that is entirely their own. Contributing artists include Anaisha J., Dustienne Jacobs, John B., (Tall) John P., Katelyn, Lisa, Maria D., Paige S., Peter S. W., Robert L., Seija W., Steven R., Teresa T., Vanessa L., and John P. Their individual works are physically woven together by a yellow thread representing how consciousness connects all minds.

The installation also opens a doorway into inner healing, informed by Brainspotting — a trauma-processing method grounded in a simple but profound premise: where you look affects how you feel. Visitors are invited to explore this for themselves using specific instructions available inside the installation.

Art and Mind was supported by five community partnerships: NAMI Shasta County, Artistic Endeavors, Hope Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, Shasta County Health and Human Services Behavioral Health, and DLB Ranch Inc. The opening reception drew more than 150 visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
