The beauty of perception
What if consciousness is not a solitary event, but a field — entangled, nonlocal, shared? My paintings explore the moments where emotion breaks through: grief, wonder, recognition, joy. I believe these moments connect us at a level deeper than language.
Working alongside colleagues with autism, Down's syndrome, and other cognitive differences, I have come to understand that perception itself is plural. There is no single way to experience reality. In honoring the full diversity of how minds meet the world, I ask: what does consciousness become when we include everyone?
